Punjab directs officers to submit property return by July 31
The Punjab Government has directed all the Group A & B officers to submit their Property returns positively by July 31. Property returns were due from April 1, 2012 and were to be submitted by May 31, 2012
The Punjab Government has directed all the Group A & B officers to submit their Property returns positively by July 31. Stating this on Wednesday, an official spokesman said that it was decided to make compulsory the filing of property returns by Group A and B employees under Rule 18 of Punjab State Employees Conduct Rules 1966.
He said that these property returns were due from April 1, 2012 and were to be submitted by May 31, 2012. It was noticed that some officers/officials have not yet submit these returns so they have been asked to file these at the earliest, he added.
Similarly, all special secretaries to ministers, secretaries to ministers, personal secretaries and personal assistants and senior scale stenographers of Punjab Civil Secretariat have been directed to file their property returns to Secretariat's Establishment-II Branch by July 31, 2012.
