Punjab Governor serves sweet milk water

The officers and staff of the Punjab Raj Bhavan on Thursday organized a 'Chhabeel' just opposote Punjab Raj Bhavan to serve the sweet milk water and cooked black 'Channa' to the public.

THE 'Chhabeel' started working since 0800 hrs in the morning and ice-cold sweet milk water served was quite a relief for the public in the oppressive heat of June.

People passing through the roads were startled to see Justice O P Verma. Governor of Punjab and Administrator. Union Territory, Chandigarh serving sweet water and offerings to the passing public.

Justice Verma appreciated the collective efforts of staff for voluntarily organizing the Chhabeel to quench the thirst of public.
