Hindustan Times Abraham, who was busy with brand promotion late last week, has resumed shooting in Coorg for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf, with Priyanka Chopra, his co-star in Dostana and Karam.

The actor plays one of Chopra’s seven husbands in the movie-version of Ruskin Bond’s Susanna’s Seven Husbands. A month ago, buzz was that South superstar Mohanlal had been approached for the same role, but he didn’t have the required dates in his diary. Before that, the character had also been offered to Naseeruddin Shah, who didn’t accept the offer either.

“I’ve finished five days of work, six more to go,” says Abraham, adding that he’s extremely happy with his decision to do the film.

“I trust Vishal’s vision. I’m having a blast shooting this movie. He had told me that I should do this film if I wanted to do one just for the kicks,” states Abraham. Actors Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan Khan are the other two actors who are playing Priyanka Chopra’s husbands in the film.

If rumours are to be believed, Chopra has a negative role in the film.
