Gandhi on his arrival from New Delhi by a chartered plane at the airbase here, boarded the helicoptor chartered from a
private firm to fly to the two places this afternoon to address rallies there, a senior official told PTI.

As the engine of the helicoptor was switched on some noise was heard from the rotor, the official who was present
at the airbase said.

Gandhi disembarked on the pilot's request and an IAF helicoptor was arranged for him to go to Saharsa, where he was
schedule to address a party rally.

At the rally he regretted the over an hour delay due to the snag which inconvenienced the people waiting for him in
the scorching sun.
