Rahul to begin Amethi visit from tomorrow

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will pay a three-day visit to his parliamentary constituency of Amethi beginning from Monday.

Gandhi will, during his visit, dedicate to people the centralised stamping unit of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) at Jagdishpur, party spokesman Akhilesh Pratap Singh said.

The function will also be attended by Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Vilasrao Deshmukh and Minister of State Arun Yadav.

The Congress MP will attend a series of programmes during the three days and is also expected to pay surprise visits to villages to take stock of developmental projects and implementation of NREGS, he said.
