Rajnath confident of Mahajan's recovery

The BJP president was confident that his party colleague would recover from the injuries as the entire country was behind him.

BJP president Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said he was confident that his party colleague Pramod Mahajan would recover from the injuries he sustained after being shot at by his younger brother.

"I have full confidence that Pramodji will recover as he has blessings of the entire country," Singh told reporters after visiting Hinduja Hospital, where Mahajan is undergoing treatment.

"I have spoken to the doctors attending on Mahajan, and they have assured me that his condition has improved," Singh said.

Industrialist Ratan Tata and President of newly-formed 'Jan Morcha', Raj Babbar, and Shiv Sena executive president, Uddhav Thackeray, and Maharashtra Ministers, Chagan Bhujbal, Vijay Sinh Mohite Patil and Dr Vimal Mundada also visited the hospital and met family members of Mahajan.
