Raman Singh leads in Rajnanadgaon

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh is leading by about 1,300 votes in Rajnandgaon constituency against legislator and Congress candidate Udai Mudliar.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh is leading by about 1,300 votes in Rajnandgaon constituency against legislator and Congress candidate Udai Mudliar.

Chhattisgarh has 90 seats in its assembly. In the outgoing assembly, the BJP had 52 members and the Congress 34.

The state recorded about 70 percent polling in the two-phase polls Nov 14 and 20.
