Ramco is Virgin America's solution

US-based start-up airline has selected Ramco's aviation software in order to automate its M&E business processes.

The global provider of enterprise solutions and services Ramco Systems Ltd on Wednesday said its Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) software solution has been selected by a new US-based start-up airline, Virgin America.

The company's selected aviation solution offers end-to-end enterprise aviation software crafted exclusively for fleet operators and Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) providers, it informed BSE.

"We are pleased to have the opportunity to provide Virgin America with Ramco's global solutions to address their unique business process, collaboration requirements and their need to manage constant change," the company's senior vice president, Global Aviation Solutions Jim Fitzgerald said.

Virgin America chose the company's aviation software in order to automate its M&E business processes.

The software is a web-centric, browser-based solution built using the Ramco's patented VirtualWorks technology.

Ramco's aviation's customers include Virgin America, Indian Airlines, SpiceJet, Air New Zealand, Petroleum Helicopters (PHI), Conair Aviation Group, Columbia Helicopters (CHI), Indian Air Force, Eurocopter and AISalam Aircraft Co.
