Naini was allegedly taken to her landlord's room and was threatened to strip. When she resisted, her clothes were torn and she was threatened that she would be paraded naked on the street. Thereafter, the landlord's son and his cousin raped her. When she came out of the room she reported the gory incident to her father, Ramu Verma.
The girl's father thrashed the three men in public. But he did not imagine that the wicked boys could go to an extent of burning Nalini alive!
Verma alleged that the police was not lodging complaint under pressure. The cops say that the girl was mentally disturbed which is totally wrong.
According to Verma, his daughter has a sound mind and that she was raped. She was warned by the accused not to report the matter and when she violated the threat, kerosene was poured over her body and she was set ablaze.
The victim is fighting for her life. According to Vikas, Naini's brother-in-law, the police are not registering the case due political pressure. They have warned that if a report were lodged they would throw the injured Naini behind bars after she recovers.
