RC Puri assumes charge of Jammu Red Cross secy

Kashmir Administrative Services officer RC Puri (retd) took over the charge of honorary secretary of the Red Cross, Jammu region, from Anil K Padah on Saturday.

Welcoming Puri, Padah apprised him about the functioning of the office. Puri has worked in various capacities in the administration, including horticulture, rural development and employment etc.

General secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu and Kashmir, Roma Wani, took an introductory meeting with the officials of state, branch and regional office, and requested them to put their sincere efforts in providing humanitarian services.

Wani urged upon the officials to work with utmost zeal to serve the citizens. A farewell party was also organised by the state branch of Red Cross to accord farewell to the outgoing secretary.
