Addressing meetings in the two districts, he promised that his party would not only restore the lost glory of the state but people would once again live in peace and prosperity. He added: “Sonia Gandhi aur Rahul Gandhi aapki madad maang rahe hain.”
Singh accused the current regime of not utilising central funds. “The government is not implementing central schemes for fear credit will go to Sonia Gandhi and the Congress,” he alleged.
The PM also blamed the non-Congress governments that ruled the state for the last 17 years of running it down.
