At present, Maharajganj district consists of six Assembly segments. In the next election, there will be five Assembly seats in the district. Similarly, Kushinagar district, which consists of six Assembly segments, will have seven segments in the next election.
Pathardeva will be the new Assembly segment in Deoria district of the division, which will be reserved for the scheduled caste. The Assembly segment will consist of a large population of Bakhira, Desai and Pathardewa blocks.
