"When HRD Ministry has said there is no paucity of funds to create infrastructure for accomodating extra seats then what is the problem? The report of the oversight committee should be rejected," IJP President Udit Raj told reporters in New Delhi.

Claiming that the teaching faculty of the country was working only eight to 10 hours a week, he said this should be increased.

IJP will observe August 7 as Reservation Day in New Delhi in which former Prime Minister VP Singh will be honoured.
