Riot-hit centres to hold exam on April 7

FRESH EXAMINATION dates for students who could not take the UP Board examination in 11 centres falling in the Aminabad and Kaiserbagh localities have been announced. The March 4, High School exam of Hindi-Paper I would now be held on April 7 while the intermediate students would take their exams Hindi and General Hindi-Paper I on April 12. Both exams would be held in the morning shift.

FRESH EXAMINATION dates for students who could not take the UP Board examination in 11 centres falling in the Aminabad and Kaiserbagh localities have been announced. The March 4, High School exam of Hindi-Paper I would now be held on April 7 while the intermediate students would take their exams Hindi and General Hindi-Paper I on April 12. Both exams would be held in the morning shift.

Exams in these 11 centers could not be held due to communal clashes.
The 11 centres where the exam had to be postponed are: Baba Thakurdas Inter College, Aminabad Inter College, Boys Anglo Bengali Inter College, Industrial Inter College, Mumtaz Inter College, Queens Anglo Sanskrit Inter College, Vidyant Hindu Inter College, Balika Vidya Niketan Inter College, Lalbagh Girls Inter College, Mahila Vidyalaya Inter College and Nari Shiksha Niketan Inter College.

DIOS, Vikas Srivastava said the exam dates for those students residing in the Aminabad and Kaiserbagh areas and whose exam centers were out of these two police circles would be announced later.

“We are sending their details to the Board. Their exam dates would be announced soon,” he said.
