RLD bid to strengthen party base

IN A bid to strengthen the party?s base and energise the party workers, the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has been organising conventions at different divisions across the State. Talking to media persons on Friday, State president of Lok Dal and chairman of UP Export Corporation, Ram Ashrey Verma said that the workers convention of Varanasi division would be organised at Ghazipur district on Saturday.

IN A bid to strengthen the party’s base and energise the party workers, the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has been organising conventions at different divisions across the State. Talking to media persons on Friday, State president of Lok Dal and chairman of UP Export Corporation, Ram Ashrey Verma said that the workers convention of Varanasi division would be organised at Ghazipur district on Saturday.

“RLD is getting good feedback through the workers’ conventions which have been organising at different divisions across the State”, he claimed and informed that workers conventions were organised at Meerut and Allahabad divisions on May 3 and May 18 respectively. Verma informed that workers’ conventions of Muradabad, Azamgarh and Mirzapur divisions were postponed due to some reasons and it would be convened in the month of June. He further added that a grand rally would be organised at Ahrura in Mirzapur districts on June 1 in which the national president of RLD, Chaudhary Ajit Singh would address the public.

He said that RLD would observe the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh as a ‘Sankalp Diwas’ across the State. He further added that three big rallies would be organised at Shadabad in JP Nagar district, Bijnore and Faizabad. Verma said that besides rallies, the activists of RLD would observe ‘Sankalp Diwas’ across the State and take oath to dedicate themselves for the welfare of downtrodden and deprived communities.
