Create a path for chi. Walk slowly from your front door to your bedroom. Look for objects that stop or slow the flow of chi (positive energy). Clear the path so that fresh chi can find its way in and nourish your love life.
Crystals are one of the best symbols of Mother Earth. Enhance the southwest corner with crystal chandeliers. It is also the corner that governs luck, love and happiness in the family.
Place romantic imagery in the bedroom: beautiful artwork, fresh or silk flowers and birds, cherubs, candles, or decorative pillows in pairs.
Decorate your bedroom in red during the early years of marriage. If you find red to be too strong, use pink or peach. Red creates yang energy, which brings good fortune to the union.
Feng shui masters attribute the breakdown of marriages, and especially infidelity, to the negative effect of mirrors reflecting the bed.
Never put live plants in the bedroom, but fruits are excellent, especially the pomegranate — a symbol of fertility.
Try hanging paintings featuring children and ripe fruits in your bedroom. They are all symbols of a fruitful relationship.
Place small red lights to energise passion and fertility.
Avoid anything that suggests water. Do not have an aquarium or basin in your bedroom.
Hang the auspicious symbol of double happiness carved in the form of elaborate designs in the bedroom furniture or furnishings.
You should never have two mattresses since this symbolically creates a schism between the sleeping couple.
