RSS might consider Ram Mandir Parikrama issue

The RSS said it would consider supporting the Ram Mandir issue if desired by the party.

A day after former BJP President LK Advani declared he would accompany Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Sarswati during the 'parikrama' at Ram Janambhoomi at Ayodhya, the RSS on Sunday said it would consider supporting the Ram Mandir issue if desired by the party.

"Basically it is Ram Mandir Nirman Andolan Samiti's task and since Advani expressed his feelings to join Shankaracharya's proposed Parikrama on December two at Ayodhya, RSS would contemplate joining it whenever the issue comes up," Suresh Soni Bhaiyaji told reporters.
