Rudy hails EC's decision on Chapra

"I have faith in God, democracy, in my leaders and the Election Commission," Rudy said hailing EC's decision.

Union Civil Aviation Minister and BJP candidate from Chapra Lok Sabha seat Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Monday hailed the Election Commission decision to countermand elections in Chapra saying he had full faith in the Election Commission.

"Justice has prevailed. I knew that the EC will do justice as the booths in Chapra were looted with impunity by the RJD goons on polling day on April 26," Rudy said.

"I have faith in God, democracy, in my leaders and the Election Commission," Rudy said welcoming the EC decision.

While countermanding the election, the EC on Monday ordered a fresh poll in Chapra on May 31.

Rudy is pitted against RJD supremo Laloo Prasad Yadav from this constituency.
