The complaint against Yadav, brother-in-law of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, was lodged by Bhuwaneswar Tiwari, a resident of Beur village. The other three accused, including one of Yadav's relatives, were arrested on Saturday, a police official said.

Yadav is a Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP from Gopalgunj parliamentary constituency.

Yadav is also accused of accepting a transfer of Rs 600,000 into his account from Santosh Jha, the alleged kingpin of the flood relief scandal in Bihar. He maintains the money was received after the sale of a car that he had bought from a Delhi businessman Sumit Jenna.

He was granted bail by the Patna High Court last month.
