Salary of Chaka CHC superintendent stopped

DISTRICT MAGISTRATE Amrit Abhijat has ordered to stop the salary of superintendent of Chaka community health centre. He was found absent during the Janata Diwas programme at Chaka development block on Friday.

He was found absent during the Janata Diwas programme at Chaka development block on Friday. The district magistrate has also sought explanation from assistant engineers after they failed to turn up at the Janata Diwas.

Most residents complained of drinking water crisis and the issues related to the BPL ration cards and pensions. After listening to the complaints, the district magistrate directed the SDM Karchana to organise special camps for distribution of Below Poverty Line ration cards.

He also approved 90 metres of Khadanja and sewer line.

The DM also approved pension to about half-a-dozen old aged women and widows in the area.
