The award has been conferred in recognition of SBI's gruelling and complex work of upgrading large-scale legacy infrastructure and overhauling outdated platforms, the bank said.

SBI was the only Indian bank to have been conferred such awards by the Financial Times group, the bank said.

The lender has networked above 10,000 branches on its new core-banking platform and has integrated it with all delivery channels and strategic areas, it said.
