Schedule, process for new colleges, courses announced

THE STATE Higher Education Department has announced the schedule and process for applying for newly opened colleges, new courses and continuation of existing courses for the academic session 2007-08. Government has urged students to take admissions to only those colleges that have Government recognition and university affiliation.

THE STATE Higher Education Department has announced the schedule and process for applying for newly opened colleges, new courses and continuation of existing courses for the academic session 2007-08. Government has urged students to take admissions to only those colleges that have Government recognition and university affiliation.

The last date of applying for commerce, arts, science and other general courses as well as courses related to Bar Council of India is December 31, 2006, that for courses related to National Council of Teachers’ Education – April 10, 2007, while for the paramedical, nursing, dental and medical courses the last date for application is June 15, 2007.

The format of application is available on the websites of the department. Higher Education Commissioner S N Mishra has said rules, application procedure and application format are available on www.mp.nic.in/highereducation and
www.highereducationmp.org.

Interested persons can download application forms and submit them with required documents and fees to the department. No applications will be entertained after the announced last dates.
