School teacher arrested for sodomising boy

The class VIII student was assaulted during a camp at Vivekanand school at Patan on Saturday night.

A school teacher was arrested on Sunday for allegedly sodomising a minor boy at an NCC camp at Patan, nearly 45 km from Jabalpur, police said.

Acting on the complaint of a standard VIII student, police arrested Bhagirath Choudhary, a teacher at the Kharond Government School, who allegedly assaulted the boy during a camp at Vivekanand school on Saturday night, they said.

A case was registered against the teacher and the boy has been sent for medical examination, police added.
