Schoolchildren among 25 injured as bus turns turle
Some schoolchildren proceeding to write their SSLC (10th standard exams) were among the over 25 persons injured when the private bus in which they were travelling turned turtle and fell into a 25 foot ditch at Iruvailu near Mangalore.

Some schoolchildren proceeding to write their SSLC (10th standard exams) were among the over 25 persons injured when the private bus in which they were travelling turned turtle and fell into a 25 foot ditch at Iruvailu near Mangalore on Monday.
Police said the bus driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve, following which it turned turtle and fell into the ditch on the roadside.
The school children were proceeding to Moodabidre to write the SSLC examinations, which began on Monday throughout the state.
The injured have been hospitalised, police said.
