Schoolchildren rally for the environment

Coordinator of the rally Vivek Kumar Asthana, Mani Nath Gupta and others said human beings posed problems and a threat to the environment due to their “selfish attitude”.
This was adversely affecting the environment and it had become difficult to get a breath of fresh air, he added.
Local MLA R.M.D. Agrawal and others appealed to people to discard use of polythene bags and plant saplings to save the ecological balance.
Agarwal said, “We should not forget that it is our moral duty to keep the environment free from pollution.” Schoolteachers also participated in the rally.
