Scindia in his letter suggested introducing such trains in Gwalior, Datia, Sanchi, Jhansi, Orchha, Khajurao and Ujjain cities for tourists’ convenience. He said such trains would not only attract tourists in India but also from abroad. Many places in these cities have historic significance, he added.

Palace of Wheels from Delhi to Rajasthan has proved to be a success in attracting tourists and it would prove helpful in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh in boosting tourism, Scindia added.
