Sealing issue: Delhi traders hold demonstration

All shops operating from residential areas as on Dec 31, 2005, should be regularised, traders demanded.

Scores of traders staged a demonstration at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Tuesday to press for urgent government measures to stop resumption of the drive to seal shops in the capital's residential areas from September 1.

The traders have launched a week-long agitation on the sealing issue.
