Captain Rahul Dravid on Thursday said that Virender Sehwag's return to form would be crucial to India clinching the one-day series against the West Indies.

Dravid said Sehwag played an extraordinary knock in the third one-dayer and that the dashing opener needed to bat in the same vein to help India overcome the 1-2 deficit in the five-match series.

"It is probably the right time for Sehwag to push on and produce similar results in the last two games," the skipper said on the eve of the fourth tie in Port of Spain.

Sehwag slammed a blistering 96 in the third game at St. Kitts but India went down to the hosts by four wickets.

The lower half of the batting has been a concern and Dravid said that it was also because the team was playing five bowlers.

"It is imperative that the lower half starts producing runs because as it is we are playing a batsman short."
