BHAJAN SINGER Anoop Jalota has described the process of selecting budding singers from talent hunt television programmes by sending SMSs as unfair.

“It is not reasonable to say that the artistes selected through talent hunt shows are not deserving enough. The process of selection through SMS does not seem to be fully honest, as SMS senders may be influenced for selection of any specific artiste. The judges should decide the results instead of SMS senders,” he said.

Talking to HT after inaugurating the Dakshin Mahotsav Food Festival in Radisson Hotel on Thursday, Jalota said he was currently working on five music albums with Music Today company. Recording for three albums had already started, he said.

While the album ‘Bol Radhey’, dedicated to Lord Krishna, had been released, recording of the remaining two will be completed soon, he added. He further said a set of 18 cassettes on Bhagwad Gita had been released across the country and abroad.
