Sendhil’s special guest

I’ve asked Gurinder to show the film to my friends in India and especially invite Deepika for it, says Sendhil Ramamurthy.

Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone has caught the fancy of American TV actor Sendhil Ramamurthy. The Heroes star, who plays an important role in Gurinder Chadha’s It’s A Wonderful Afterlife, has asked the filmmaker to invite the actress to a special screening of the film in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Sendhil, who will not be able to come for the screening himself, told the filmmaker to invite the actress personally. He says, “I think Deepika is the best looking girl and actor in Bollywood. I happened to meet her at a party and thought she was really pretty. Yes, Gurinder is having a special screening of the film in Mumbai, I won’t be there because of prior commitments here, but have requested Gurinder to show the film to the few friends I have made in India and especially invite Deepika for it.”

The Heroes star has been a fan of the actress and always wanted to meet her. He also mentioned it to his friends here. He got a chance to meet the actress at Ekta Kapoor’s party in Mumbai last month and chatted with her there. “After Sendhil’s request Gurinder will now personally invite the actress for the screening,” says a source close to the film.
