Senior CPI-M leader Ramanna Rai passes away in Kerala

Senior CPI-M leader M Ramanna Rai, who represented the Kasaragod Lok Sabha constituency for three terms, died on Tuesday at a private hospital due to age related ailments, family sources said.

Senior CPI-M leader M Ramanna Rai, who represented the Kasaragod Lok Sabha constituency for three terms, died on Tuesday at a private hospital due to age related ailments, family sources said.

Ramanna Rai, 79, was undergoing treatment for the last one month.

He was admitted to the hospital on Monday after his condition turned worse.

Ramanna Rai was elected from Kasaragod Lok Sabha consitutency of north Kerala in 1980, '89 and '91.
