Questioning the clean chit given to Jet Airways chief Naresh Goyal, JD(U) President and former Civil Aviation Minister Sharad Yadav on Friday demanded his arrest for his alleged "dubious links" claimed to have been reported by the intelligence agencies during the NDA rule.

"It is unfortunate that the Ministry of Home Affairs has given security clearance to Goyal, who is Chairman of Jet Airways. The Ministry should make public the so called confidential and top secret reports from Intelligence about Goyal and his Jet Airways," he told a press conference in New Delhi.

Goyal was not available for his comments but a Jet Airways spokesman said he would try to get in touch with the Chairman for his reaction.

The Home Ministry while giving clearance to Goyal on Thursday had said that inquiries were conducted by various security agencies about his antecedents and from the security angle nothing adverse was found against him.

Yadav circulated copies of a purported Home Ministry report during NDA rule which had said that Goyal had underworld links.
