Shashi Tharoor starts campaign in Kerala

Former UN under secretary general Shashi Tharoor, the Congress candidate for the Lok Sabha polls from Thiruvananthapuram, today launched his campaign for the elections.

Tharoor, who visited the DCC office in Thiruvananthapuram, was given a rousing reception where he held discussions with DCC office-bearers on the election campaign.

Tharoor had sought the blessings of veteran Congress leader K Karunakaran at his residence here.
