To keep authorities, institutions and police personal informed about the activities, courses and programmes of the Sher-I-Kashmir Police Academy, an official website of the academy was launched here on Monday.

Director SKPA IGP Farooq Khan, while inaugurating the website said that by having an official website, SKPA has joined the information superhighway.
The website covers different sections giving complete details about the working and functioning of the academy. It has information on history of the academy, past directors, courses/programmes conducted by the academy.
The website also hosts a vibrant photo and video gallery, which provides viewers with glimpses of passing out parades, award ceremonies, hall of fame and of sports and other activities carried out at the academy.
One of the important sections of the website is the Discussion Forum, an online forum board that can be used by serving as well as retired officers to discuss important police and civil matters sitting from anywhere.
The website has been developed by Ideogram Technology Solutions [P] Ltd, a leading IT company of J&K.
