Inspired by Gandhiji's quote "Be the change you want to be", I am committed to making this world a better place to live in. At Lancers International School, we understand that we need to give back as much as we get.

My school has provided me an effective platform to contribute to the society and do it in more ways than one.

Recently, as part of the ongoing programme Creative, Action and Service Exercises(CAS), the school in collaboration with many NGOs involved students like me where we could interact with the innocent under-privileged children.

We conducted bonding activities, played games with them and taught them basics like ABC and numbers, which was very important, as they are the foundation of a good education.

In addition to this, I collected donation from my school with the help of my teachers and were able to garner a substantial amount which was given to people who were in need.

Furthermore, I helped set up a volleyball court for the kids. In addition to this, we planted trees to make our future green , eco-friendly and brighter.

Being a part of such initiatives has changed me as a person and forced me to take a broader perspective at life. I am truly indebted to my school for encouraging and initiating students like me in such activities which act as an eye opener and get us in touch with harsh realities of life.
