Six medical officers shifted

FOLLOWING THE High Court?s order, as many as six PMS medical officers in (level I and II category) were relieved and four doctors on deputation were sent back to their original place of posting on Tuesday. The court had directed the health department to end deputation posting and relieve all those medical officers who had been transferred to other districts in UP.

FOLLOWING THE High Court’s order, as many as six PMS medical officers in (level I and II category) were relieved and four doctors on deputation were sent back to their original place of posting on Tuesday. The court had directed the health department to end deputation posting and relieve all those medical officers who had been transferred to other districts in UP.

The medical officers who have been relieved reportedly include Dr Jaichand Saroj (transferred from Behria to Kushinagar), Dr AP Singh (school dispensary Allahabad to Sonbhadra under CMO), Dr Zulfikar Ali (CHC Jasra to Kushinagar under CMO), Dr AK Singh (CHC Jasra to Gorakhpur under CMO), Dr SK Singh (New PHC Jagatpur to Sonbhadra) and Dr RP Gupta (New PHC Mailhan to Maharajganj under CMO).

Further, Dr Deepak Seth, Dr Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, Dr Vibhudesh and Dr Santosh Kumar Srivastava posted on deputation basis have been reportedly sent back to their original place of posting.

“The CMO wants to complete all the transfer postings before April 17 in compliance with the court’s order,” said a health department source.
