Six policemen were injured in a post-poll clash between CPI(M) and NTC supporters in Kalighat area the constituency of Mamata Banerjee.
Six policemen were injured in a post-poll clash between CPI(M) and NTC supporters in Kalighat area under Calcutta South Lok Sabha constituency of union minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday.

The trouble stemmed from a brawl between the rival activists on the Kalighat Road prompting police to chase away the clashing groups.

The activists hurled soda bottles and stones on the police, injuring six of them.
Police said a seriously injured constable was admitted to the Kolkata Police hospital.
