According to information, Saleem received a call at about 9.30 am that a venomous cobra snake was spotted in the BHEL area. Saleem rushed to the spot and managed to catch the reptile safely.

However, when he was putting the snake in a gunnysack, the cobra bit him on the index finger of his right hand. The deadly snake’s venom soon started spreading in Saleem’s body and he lost consciousness.

Saleem was rushed to the Chirayu hospital in a serious condition at about 11 am and doctors immediately administered him anti-snake venom injections and other medicines. He is still undergoing treatment and is in observation of doctors there. Doctors at Chirayu hospital said Saleem’s condition was still serious and he would be under observation for the next 48

Depending upon Saleem’s condition after 48 hours doctors would be able to say for certain whether he is out of danger or not.
