Sonam opposite Shahid in Mausam

After auditioning the likes of Sonakshi Sinha, Narmada Ahuja, and Shazahn Padamseee, director Pankaj Kapur has decided to cast Sonam Kapoor opposite Shahid in Mausam.

After looking at a number of girls including Sonakshi Sinha, Narmada Ahuja, and even Shazahn Padamseee, director Pankaj Kapur has decided to cast Sonam Kapoor opposite Shahid for Mausam.

A website reports, "Everyone involved with the project - Pankaj, the producers Sheetal Talwar and Madhu Mantena, the creative team, rate Sonam highly as an actress. She fits the role very well. The entire Mausam camp is happy about her inclusion in the film."

It is also sated that Supriya Pathak is elated about Sonam playing the female lead. The reports says, "Supriya and Sonam got along like a house on fire during the making of Delhi-6. Sonam was not even auditioned for Mausam."
