CONGRESS PRESIDENT Sonia Gandhi will speak her heart out when she addresses a rally in her Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday.

This would be the first public rally of Sonia Gandhi after her resignation as MP and chairperson of the National Advisory Council following the controversy over office of profit.

Sonia would obviously use the occasion to convey her point on the issue of office of profit and tell people about the events that preceded her resignation.

Much significance is being attached to the visit of Sonia who will be accompanied by her son Rahul Gandhi. As she will contest the by-poll from Rae Bareli, the response to her visit will be watched with keen interest by political observers.

An unprecedented welcome awaits Mrs Gandhi during her visit as large-scale preparations are being made at Rae Bareli and Amethi that Rahul Gandhi represents in the Lok Sabha.

She will be accorded a warm welcome at the Amausi airport from where she will proceed to Rae Bareli. A large number of welcome arches have been erected on way from airport to Government Inter College grounds at Rae Bareli where she will address the public rally.

Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee president Salman Khurshid has already presided over several meetings to review arrangements. The Youth Congress president Ashok Tanwar has also reached to step up preparations.
