Beleaguered Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly on Monday hoped that the Motera stadium in Ahmedabad, where he has scored three hundreds in international cricket, would prove lucky for him as he struggles to get back his batting form in the ongoing one-day series against Pakistan.

"Yes, I have a few Test hundreds here too (in addition to his innings of 144 in the One-Day International against Zimbabwe in 2000-01). I hope it turns out lucky for me again," said Ganguly on the eve of the fourth game of the six-match series against Pakistan.

Ganguly, who has been severely short of runs and is under tremendous pressure to come good with the bat, also admitted he needed to come out of the lean patch as soon as possible.

"When you are not among the runs you can expect criticism. But I am having support from some quarters too. The important thing is how quickly I can come out of it (bad patch)", the batsman from Bengal said.

Stating that the match was a very important one with India leading the rubber 2-1, the Indian captain said his team needed to perform well to win while dismissing the toss to be the all-important one as has been made out.

"The toss is important. But I don't know how much difference it makes on good pitches. Generally the pitches in India are good," he said adding he was yet to have a look at the wicket prepared for Tuesday's clash.

Asked about the slow over-rate of his team, Ganguly said that he had already spoken to his bowlers over the issue.

"I have already spoken to the bowlers about it. We all need to speed it up so that we complete our quota of overs in the allotted three and a half hours," he said.
