They said Mayawati’s remark established the fact that the BSP had a soft corner for the BJP. In case of any trouble, the BSP voters could be directed by the BSP supremo to support the communal forces.

SP activists raised slogans against the BSP leader and said the BJP, the BSP and the Congress had no difference in their approach towards the minority community.

Expressing his views on this occasion, senior SP leader Vindhyawasini Jaiswal said BSP had a secret understanding with the BJP and in Meerut mayoral election the BSP activists supported the BJP to ensure the defeat of the wife of State minister Haji Yaqoob.

They said minorities would not forgive the BSP chief for her derogatory remarks and would give a befitting reply to the BSP candidates in the assembly election.

Strongly condemning the remarks made by the BSP chief, senior SP leader Ravi Srivastav, Bindu Devi and others said Mayawati had supported Narendra Modi in Gujarat assembly election.

He said the minority community leader and general secretary of the party Nasimuddin Siddiqui along with others should resign from the BSP for the sake of minorities.

The SP leaders said the BSP to the saffron brigade in mayoral election in Gorakhpur had ensured the defeat of the SP candidate.
