SP manifesto aims to fight corruption, inflation

Days before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday released his party's manifesto in Lucknow and said SP will work against inflation and corruption.

Days before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday released his party's manifesto in Lucknow and said SP will work against inflation and corruption.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and party leader Ramgopal Yadav were also present during the unveiling of the manifesto.

Mulayam Singh Yadav said his party will provide special benefits to Muslims and set up a commission for the poor belonging to upper castes if they are elected after releasing the poll paper.

The SP chief also promised to work for traders and increase agricultural land in Uttar Pradesh.

The party said it will focus on Purvanchal and Bundelkhand regions and help in its developmental projects.

SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav said education will be made totally free in the country if a non-Congress, non-BJP government comes to power at the Centre.
