Releasing details of the RTI reply on Wednesday, PWD and irrigation minister Shivpal Yadav said a probe had been ordered. Yadav had sought the details two years ago when he was the leader of opposition.

SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhury said CM Akhilesh Yadav had already said without being vindictive the government would take action against the erring officers.

The main single-storied building has six inter-connected rooms that open to a corridor full of lockers. The adjoining two-storied guesthouse has 14 well-furnished rooms with pink Italian marble flooring.

Mayawati's bedroom is said to be 30X30 ft and dressing room 30X15 ft. The campus also has two 20ft statues of Mayawati and late Kanshiram besides five marble statues of elephants.
