SP ready to go alone in Uttarakhand in Lok Sabha polls

Samajwadi Party today said that it is prepared to fight the coming Lok Sabha elections on all the five constituencies in Uttarakhand without forging alliance with any party.

If the pre-poll agreement with Congress does not work, the party is ready to field its candidates on all the five seats in the state, SP General Secretary Vinod Barthwal said here.

The party has already got one seat in the state. A direction has come from the high command to field strong candidates in all the constituencies, he said.
