Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke apologised to supporters of the movement on July 21, saying he “could have done better” to protect protesters during the July 20 march. Dipke was seen interacting with protesters who were injured during the demonstration. In a post on X, he apologised to supporters, particularly women protesters, and alleged that they were subjected to violence by Delhi Police personnel. Dipke also accused the government of protecting Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and alleged that police action against the protesters was excessive. He said the movement would continue and urged injured protesters to contact him personally.
