SP workers protest against price rise

SAMAJWADI PARTY activists took out a procession on Wednesday in protest against the UPA Government?s failure to check price rise. They also staged a dharna at the district magistrate?s office. Former MLC Devendra Pratap Singh blamed the Central Government for the dismal power scenario in the State. He said while smaller States were getting more power supply, UP was being ignored.

Former MLC Devendra Pratap Singh blamed the Central Government for the dismal power scenario in the State. He said while smaller States were getting more power supply, UP was being ignored.

He thanked Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav for his order to suspend power rostering at night. Samajwadi Party leaders Kirtinidhi Pandey, Anwar Alam and others said the Union Government’s economic policies had compounded the miseries of small farmers and traders.
