A 'spirtual walk' around holy Pushkar lake ghats and main temples of the town will be held on November 12.

A 'spirtual walk' around holy Pushkar lake ghats and main temples of the town will be held on November 12, as a part of the four-day Pushkar fair. The walk will begin from the Brahma temple here and will go around the ghats (banks of the lake) around the Pushkar lake.

Groups of devotional singers (bhajan mandalis), sadhus, foreign tourists and a large number of pilgrims are expected to participate in the spiritual walk, being sponsored by the Rajasthan Tourism department. Several voluntary organisations are participating in the event, setting up welcome gates and decorating the route of 'spirtual walk'. The famed four-day Pushkar fair begins with a bath on the `Ekadashi' (the eleventh day of the month as per the Indian calendar) day.
