Internationally recognised artists will present cultural programmes on the occasion.
Cultural secretary of the Student Gymkhana Nishant Kumar Singh said Astad Deboo, a noted dancer would present his show on the occasion of inaugural day.
He is famous for his dance performance with Pink Floyd at London Square.
Besides, the Grammy Award winner Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, who is known for his classic music all over the world and has been an inventor of several musical instruments like ‘Mohan Veena’ would also enthrall the audience, Singh said.
Mimicry maestro Dr Nerella Venumadhav would also join the inaugural session of the ‘Antaragni’ and would hold the stage to fascinate the audience with his dramatic performances, Nishant added.
Nishant further said that the students from other states have started arriving at the Institute to participate at the events. It was expected that all the participants from different colleges would arrive here by Thursday, he added. He said that all the necessary arrangements to hold the great event at the Institute were given final touches.
Enthusiastic students have put up colourful posters all around the Institute and have given a festive look to the campus. One could witness hectic rehearsals of the programmes, which were being carried out by the participants at the hostel rooms and the common rooms.
One would be surprised to see that the students were making rehearsals without bunking their class lectures. They have formed a balance in their studies and the cultural rehearsals.
