String of hoax calls keeps Delhi Police on toes

A string of bomb hoax calls on Sunday kept police on their toes, a day after the serial blasts killed 59 people and injured over 200 others.

The building was evacuated but no suspicious object was found when bomb and dog squads scourged the place.
Another call was received about an unclaimed bag in a bus in Sarojini Nagar area but that also turned out to be a hoax.
Several more such calls were received from various parts of the city, police sources said.
